SMS / Text Messaging Consent & Opt-In

This page describes the VerdictMind text-messaging program operated by TwinTech AI LLC, how clients give consent to receive texts, the disclosures they agree to, and how to get help or stop messages at any time.

Who sends, who receives. TwinTech AI LLC operates VerdictMind, a case-management platform that law firms (“Firms”) use to send text updates to their own existing clients about that client’s active legal matter. Messages are transactional account/case notifications — not marketing. Numbers are never purchased, rented, or shared.

1. How clients opt in (consent)

Consent is collected by each Firm from its own clients during the Firm’s intake, before any text is sent:

When a client retains the Firm, the client provides their mobile number and agrees to a separate, affirmative SMS-consent clause in the Firm’s signed engagement/retainer agreement. The clause is not pre-checked, not bundled with other terms, and consent is not a condition of receiving legal services.
This gives the client prior express written consent to receive recurring text messages about their legal matter.
After consent is captured, the Firm sends a one-time confirmation text from its number. The client may also confirm by replying YES.

2. The consent language clients agree to

The SMS-consent clause clients see and agree to reads substantially as follows:

“By providing my mobile number and signing this agreement, I give my prior express written consent to receive recurring text messages from my law firm, sent through VerdictMind (TwinTech AI LLC), about my legal matter — including appointment and deadline reminders, requests to upload documents, and notifications that a new secure message or case update is available in my client portal. I understand that message frequency varies with case activity, that message and data rates may apply, and that my consent is not a condition of any legal services. I can reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. See the Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.”

3. What messages clients receive

Messages relate only to the client’s own legal matter, for example:

4. Frequency & rates

Message frequency varies based on case activity. Message and data rates may apply.

5. How to stop or get help

Opt out: reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message and no further messages will be sent. Reply START to opt back in.
Help: reply HELP or INFO, or contact your Firm.

6. Your mobile information is never shared

Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent (opt-in) information are not shared with, or sold to, any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes; they are used solely to operate the messaging described above. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms (Section 17).
